Been a while since the last update. We've been really busy at the golf course-lots of tournaments
for the different leagues here in the park . I'm starting now to call previous tournament groups from the area to try
and book them in for this spring. Our afternoons are starting to slow down a bit now as a lot of people have no desire
to golf when it's 85-90 degrees. We've done 4 glow ball games and have so many people wanting to be on the back-up list in
case someone cancels that we've decided next week we're going to do two nights in a row. Hopefully that will give eveyone
a chance to do it one more time before they leave. People have started leaving already and of course we're sorry to
see them go. A week ago today we had the Mardi Gras parade and potluck-lots of fun and good food. Tom's ball team
had a float and we decorated a golf cart from the course. Speaking of his ball team, they've finally started winning-the
last three- and even mercied the team on Sunday 12-2. We saw a job on the hotline in Texas that we're thinking may be
interesting for next winter and we're going to go up to Borrego Springs today to drop off our resumes at an RV resort/golf
course there for next year. Tom said he thinks he'll also stop in the pharmacy and see if there might be any chance
of a job there. He went to a podiatrist here in town last week (hopefully at his appointment
next the foot will finally be taken care of) and the Dr. told him he could get a job in no time as they're crying for pharmacy
techs around here. Brother John and his driving partner Bud stopped by on their way through about three weeks ago-spent some
time here and then we drove up where they were loading and went out to eat with John. Fun seeing them! Next weekend
is the Blue Angels kick off-food fest on Friday night and air show on Saturday. This last week they've been flying really
low-usually all six together-shakes the whole place. Not much else for now.Let
